OUPV License Course
This is a USCG approved 56 hour course designed to guide each student
through four the components that make up the course: Rules of the Road,
Navigation, Deck General and Plotting. Although you do not need to test
with the USCG, we give the test at the end of the course. You must
successfully complete each component and pass each test in order to
receive your documentation to submit to the USCG for your license. If
you fail any component of the test, you may retest 2 additional times
only on the failed component of the course.

oupv/master license renewal course
this course is designed for the applicant who wants to renew their license but does not have enough sea service time. this course is 8 hours and the test is given at the end.
Masters Upgrade course
This course is the only requirement to upgrade your license when taken within 1 year or your Oupv license training course. this is a 24 hour course and you are tested at the end of the course. you may use the same sea service time as in your oupv sea service time. this course is similar to the oupv course but has a focus on inspected passenger vessel rules and compliance. your test will include 10 questions and you must score a 70 to pass.
assistance towing endorsement
this course is a 4 hour uscg approved course with a test at the end of the course. there are 10 questions and you must score a 70 to pass. some topics covered are; towing safety, towing equipment, towing procedures.
fcc marine radio operator license
this is a 4 hour FCC course covers basic radio law, regulations and fcc requirements and fines and how they are related to the marine radio. test is given at the end of the class. this license is needed to operate inspected passenger vessels.
